Hej!

I'm a Swede who went to the UK on an adventure back in 2017 and ended up staying. Most people call me C. K., but some also call me Chris, short for Christine. Few people know what the K stands for, or that I really love Clark Kent.

I write character-driven fantasy novels for adults, or as I like to call them: fantasy love stories. My books are sprinkled with slow burn, fade-to-black romantic scenes that will make you want to kick your feet and mental health rep, while being characterised by powerful female leads who grow throughout the stories, meaningful love interests and world-building.

“Mental health representation is so important especially within fantasy books, and C.K. did such a wonderful job incorporating it!“

“The romance between Saga and Garren is one of my favorite things ever, it had me kicking my feet with giddy.”

“I will say the last bit of the book was a sobfest for me. CK just took my heart out of my chest, threw it on the ground and stomped on it over and over. Then the fatal wound of how this ended. I need book two like I need the air in my lungs to breathe. I need to know.”

“CK Andersson describes herself as an author that focuses on character-driven stories, and I find this to be absolutely true. Every decision - even the ones that I hated and was shouting at the characters for - felt right for their personalities and past experiences. Added to that, none of the main cast felt stagnant; each of them went on their own journey and were not the same entities (because they aren't all people) as they were at the beginning of the series.”
