Refund policy

MERCHANDISE (EXCLUDING SIGNED BOOKS & BOOK BUNDLES)

If you are unsatisfied with your purchase, please contact me within 14 days of receiving your parcel. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it and in its original packaging. You will also need the receipt or proof of purchase. Due to the custom nature of signed books and book bundles, unfortunately I cannot accept cancellations once they are packed or shipped, and I cannot accept returns.

If your return is accepted, I will send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to me without first requesting a return will not be accepted, sorry about that. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs and I highly recommend using a tracked option.

I will notify you once I have received and inspected your return, and will let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you will be automatically refunded to your original payment method within 10 business days. Please note that it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and issue the refund. 

If more than 15 business days have passed since I approved your return, please contact me.

For damaged merch, a replacement will be sent. Contact me at chris@ckandersson.com with photos and I will get back to you.


EBOOKS

Due to the nature of ebooks, there will be no refunds.


SIGNED BOOKS & BOOK BUNDLES

Due to the personalised nature of signed books and book bundles, unfortunately I cannot accept cancellations and returns.

If your book seems to be damaged upon arrival, it might be eligible for a refund (minus the shipping cost) or a replacement. Please send an email with photos of the book and any other items with it that are damaged, the box they arrived in and a description to chris@ckandersson.com within 14 days of receiving the parcel. I review each case individually.

QUALIFYING DAMAGE

  • More than 1 cm. of damage to the cover of the book, such as cuts, scratches, rips, dents
  • Severe scratches on the foiling
  • Ripped or bent pages which affect the readability of the book
  • Severe and obvious crushed corners or edges which affect the book's structure
  • Printing error
  • Missing pages
  • Water damage
  • Discolouration and stains which are permanent

NON-QUALIFYING DAMAGE

  • Shelf wear (such as minor fading and dulling)
  • Slight wear from handling the books
  • Slightly bumped corners and edges (this is considered normal wear and tear and can be flattened with your hands)
  • Small wrinkles (especially on paperback spines), creases and bumps 
  • On matt or soft-touch covers: small shiny spots (this is due to the nature of matt covers and the normal wear and tear that occurs)
  • Wavy pages (not caused by water or significant damage)
  • Light scratches and scuffing, including on foiling
  • Removable residue from the printing process
